Wednesday 22nd December.

Just to let you all know the Drive and Carpark will be snow ploughed and gritted late tonight so all should be ok from tomorrow - Sorry for any inconvenience that has been caused.

Tuesday 14th December. Please note that due to lack of numbers the New Years Eve Disco has been cancelled. We will still be open and look forward to seeing you and your families down the club for a fun time. Food will be provided and a Karaoke and Wii will be available.

Thursday 9th December. The Club will be holding a couple of events over the Christmas period. Further details can be found here. Christmas Opening times will be as follows :-

Christmas Eve - West Warwicks Got Talent		4 pm - 1 am
Christmas Day		noon - 3 pm
Boxing Day		noon - 8 pm
New Years Eve - Open to All		4 pm - 1 am
New Years Day		noon - 9 pm

Please note that the Squash courts will not be available for use on Sunday 5th December between 09:00 and 16:00.

A Junior Grand Prix Tournament is been held.

Sunday 14th November. The Men's and Ladies First Team Hockey were both in action at the club today .

Friday 12th November. The 2010 Cricket Dinner was held at the club last night with a great time had by all . The presentations were also awarded for the season. Further Pictures can be found here

Thursday 11th November.

They shall not grow old , as we that are left grow old . Age shall not weary them , nor the years condemn . At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them

Wednesday 10th November.

Congratulations go to one of Olton's young cricketers, 13 year old, George Rees for winning a Junior World Championship kick-boxing medal for England at the World Championship held in Alicante early in November. (George had the best bowling average in the all the junior cricket section this year too)

Wednesday 27th October. There isn't only one New Newspaper out this week. The first edition of the New Club Newsletter is available here. Please let me have any feedback and as I get more information from the sections it will hopefully get more informative.

Its that time of year again . Blues v Villa is on this Sunday at the club for members and guests - guests MUST be signed in. Come on down and support your team and enjoy a bit of friendly banter. Come on you *****

Tuesday 26th October.

Congratulations to Liam Gately who passed his driving test today. If you are in the Solihull area beware !!!!

Monday 18th October. The Trustees would like to announce 2 new members of staff - please see notice

There are two great events coming to the club - a Karaoke Night on Saturday 23rd October and Halloween Night on Friday 29th October . Further details can be found here.

Sunday 17th October. The Men's Hockey First XI were in action today and some great Hockey was played . They came away with a 2 - 2 draw against Leek . Further Pictures can be found here

Monday 11th October. I am creating a "Yellow Pages" of useful members business contacts. if you would like to advertise your Business please contact me on mike.harradence@westwarwicks.co.uk.

There is a small fee of £15 a year to cover web costs - if any money is left at the end of the year it will go to charity. Please take a look .

The Club is trying to locate the whereabouts of any photographs, pictures, trophies and memorabilia from the past, for possible display in the club.
When the clubhouse was rebuilt many such items went into "safekeeping" somewhere. But where?!

Saturday 25th September. The Men's and Ladies 1st XI Hockey teams were in action today at the club.

Congratulations to the Combined Under 10 Olton and Moseley Cricket Team who won the Warwickshire CB Under 10 Competition today.

Thursday 2nd September. The Men's Hockey First Team have been short listed in the "Team of the Year" category in the 2010 Coventry , Solihull and Warwickshire Sports Awards .

Please cast your vote for them at 2010 Sports Awards.

The team are playing in the National League this year so keep an eye out for the fixtures and come down and support them at the club .
