West Warwicks's invites you to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton at 11am on Friday 29th April 2011.

We will be holding a Champagne Breakfast at 9:30am - please note we are only serving breakfast for 60 so please purchase tickets asap if you would like to be at the Champagne Breakfast. We will however be selling 100 tickets for the BBQ and afternoon strawberries and cream. The Wedding will be projected through all TVs. We will also be having a BBQ on the balcony from 1pm. Please see the BBQ menu and other events that will be occurring throughout the day along with prices of the Full Day and Half Day Tickets here

Tickets are on a first come first served basis so please don't miss out!! Hope you can make it. x

Gary Hawkins has won a prestigious Midlands Club Cricket Conference Award for the 2010 season.

Monday 7th March. Members will be saddened to hear of the death of our friend Alistair Reay , who died suddenly in the early hours of Tuesday 1st March from complications with pneumonia. Alistair was a member at West Warwicks for many years , but was best known for his work as caterer at Robin Hood Golf Club.

Club members , I am sure , would wish to pass on their condolences to Alistair's family.

The funeral will take place at 10.15am of Friday 11th March at Olton Friary , St Bernhards Road followed by a private burial ( Family Flowers only please ).

Donations for charity are being collected by Ralph Holden or can be sent to Ward 19 c/o Bostocks Funeral Directors , Acocks Green.

A reception will be held at Robin Hood Golf Club from 11am of Friday 11th.

Saturday 12th February. The Pinkman Charity Beard Shave happened on Saturday 5th February . Pinkman has raised the fantastic amount of £ 1,118 to date for Breast Cancer.

Wednesday 9th February. The Club is holding a promotional day in the Touchwood shopping centre in March. Has any member got an exhibition stand / counter that the club could borrow for the day. Please contact Yvette in reception if you have.

Monday 31st January. The New Bar Menu can be found here. Members get a great discount so why not come on down and try the food out - you won't be dissapointed . You can also get a 3 course Sunday Lunch for under a tenner

Saturday 29th January. Many of you will remember Ray Holland who was a long serving member at the club. The Golfers have provided a long lasting memorial bench at Robin Hood Golf Club. A fitting tribute. You can see the bench here.

Monday 17th January. Please note the Squash Courts will be unavailable between 9am and 5pm on Sunday 23rd and Sunday 30th due to Junior County Squash Tournaments. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Men's 2nd XI Hockey were in action again on Saturday and came away with a 3-3 draw against Belper.

Sunday 9th January .

Blues v Villa is on this Sunday at the club for members and guests - guests MUST be signed in and a small charge of £ 2 per guest which will go towards a collection for Breast Cancer . . Come on down and support your team and enjoy a bit of friendly banter. Come on you *****

The bad weather has finally gone and life is getting back to normal . The Men's 2nd XI Hockey were in action at the club and came away with a win.
