Wednesday 27th January . I am keeping open the competition for the name of the New Club Newsletter for another couple of weeks. I have already had a lot of good entries so please keep them coming to mike.harradence@westwarwicks.co.uk
I have also had a lot of interest in the members advertising area - for a small fee of £10 per year. It will be a sort of yellow pages. Please let me know if you are interested at mike.harradence@westwarwicks.co.uk . I will be contacting those who have already emailed over the coming days.
Monday 18th January . The Club would like to welcome Jonathan Tate to the Squash Section . Jonathan is the New Club Coach and provides coaching for both Juniors and Seniors. Please see the Squash Area for further details.

Wednesday 23rd December.. I intend starting a monthly Club Newsletter to let our members know what is happening both at the club and with the different sections. We are holding a competition for somebody to come up with a name (and Logo if you like ) for the newsletter ( prize will be a meal for two in the club restaurant or another suitable prize for our younger members ) so get your thinking hats on and email me on mike.harradence@westwarwicks.co.uk with your suggestions by January 24th .
You can also let me know what type of information you would like to see in the newsletter.
I would like to start an area on the website where members can advertise. It would be like a yellow pages so members can find names and numbers for things such as plumbers , electritians or anything else.
We are charging a small £10 fee for the advertisement to cover the upkeep of the website - its not going to me but will be kept for any upgrades or changes that require outside assistance. If we have any money left at the end of each year it will go to charity.
Please let me know on mike.harradence@westwarwicks.co.uk if you would like to advertise.
Monday 20th December.. The Christmas Disco was held on Saturday Night
and a great time was had by all. A big thank you to all the staff for their hard work durng the day.
Thursday 17th December..
Please take your old membership card to the office to receive your NEW CLUB MEMBERS CARD. This card will give you members prices at the bar which is a 16% discount over non-members prices. If you dont have your card on you at all times you will be paying non-members prices every time you use the bar so please ensure you keep it with you.
Tuesday 15th December.. Please note the Squash Courts will be unavailable on Sunday 20th December from 9am - 4pm due to a Junior Tournament . Further details can be found here
Thursday 10th December.. The presentation of the Golf Winter Four Ball Trophy was held last night with Jake and Keith Scott the winners.
The evening was finished off with a curry and a few drinks in the bar. Further pictures can be found here
Monday 7th December.. Congratulations to three of the Cricket Members. Liam Gately who has been awarded the Midlands Club Cricket Conference prestigious Alec Hastilow Youth Player of the Year Award 2009 - A great Acheivement well done Liam.
Richard Fox has been awarded the Halesowen Trophy by the MCCC . This trophy goes to volunteers who have devoted many years to youth cricket.
Dan Fox has been chosen to play for England in the International Hockey Tournament in Melbourne.

Monday 23rd November.. Congratulations to the Men's Hockey team who have reached the last eight of the Men's Cup. They now take on Brooklands MU in the Quarter Final on Sunday 7th March - Details can be found here
Sunday 15th November.. The Tennis Presentation night was held yesterday evening with a great turn out for the quiz. The awards were given out by Rchard Arthey the Tennis Chairman.
The winner of the men's singles was Oli Sellers and the Ladies singles was Lisa Key

Saturday 14th November.. The Annual Cricket Dinner & Presentation Evening was held at the club last night with Guest Speaker Dougie Brown.

Tuesday 3rd November.. Please note that as of October 1st the New Trustees of the club are Mike Harradence , Tony Hawkhead , Phil Vann and Syd Madeley. We would like to thank the outgoing Trustees for all the hard work and dedication over the last few years.

The Men's Hockey 1st Xi were in action today in the cup against Blueharts , ending up the winners. There is some great Hockey Played at the club by both the Men and Women , if you havn't watched any I would have a look next time you are down.

Monday 26th October.. Oli Sellers is running two Tennis Training groups on Wednesday and Thursday this week .If you are interested just turn up on the day. It will be between 10 am and 12 pm and will cost £5

Oli Sellers is to start Mini Tennis Coaching at the club on Thursday October 15th. This is a great place to start for children under the age of 10 who would like to learn tennis . The rackets are smaller and the balls are lighter.
If you have any children who would be interested , members or non-members , please see the details in the tennis news area and contact Oli.
